Doris Carpenter

Doris Helen Clark Carpenter, 87, passed away on October 7, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming. She was born on September 19, 1931 in Thermopolis, Wyoming, to Evert and Margret Clark of Mills, WY. She married Robert Carpenter on May 28, 1948. Doris went to meet her Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 4:25 pm. She was survived of 3 sons and one daughter, Dan and Christine Carpenter, Bill and Polly Carpenter, Rosalie and O.B. Ready, and Dale and Vicki Carpenter. Surviving her are 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother. She is proceeded in death by both parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. She loved her family and cherished every moment she could spend with them. Her pastimes were sewing, quilting, playing cards with anyone who would sit down and play for as long as she could keep you in the chair, genealogy, hunting and fishing. She loved people and would spend any spare time visiting with anyone who would slow down and visit. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 12 to 2 PM with a funeral service starting at 2:00 P.M. at Bustard's Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Casper.
