Doris Christman

Doris Miriam Christman, 85, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on September 13, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Casper with Rev. Cynthia McBride officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens following the Service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bustard's Funeral Home. Doris was born in Fargo, North Dakota on January 8, 1932, the daughter of Paul and Laura Peterson. She grew up and attended school in Ft. Ransom, North Dakota. Doris was married to Charles "Chuck" Edward Christman on August 16, 1948 in South Dakota; they were married 69 years. Doris enjoyed sewing and painting. She also loved to sing in the choir at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Casper. Doris is survived by her son, C. Howard Christman; daughter, Diane Keller; and son, Paul Christman; three grandchildren, Kerri, Lindsey and Amanda; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Reese, and Preston; and other family and friends. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Laura Peterson; her brother, Elroy Peterson; and her beloved husband, Charles. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions, 319 S. Wilson, Casper, WY 82601.
