Donna Jean Smith, 77, passed away in Casper, WY. on Monday, January 25th, 2016. She was born Donna Jean Maher in Casper, WY. on March 4th, 1938 to parents Cecil and Edith M. Maher. She was married to Marvin C. Smith on March 10th, 1956. Donna is survived by her children LaDonna (Ken) Wendling, Leona (Eric) Kriegh, Edward Smith, Laure Smith, and Arthur Smith; Grandchildren Nick Wendling, Nicole (Jason) Sponsler, Roy (Ashley) Kriegh, Heidi Kriegh, April (Clint) Schibig, Danielle (Lance) English, Krystal (Rusty) Bentz, Maranda (Eric) Huss, Shannan (Randy) Robinett, Alyssa Smith, Ashley Smith, and Abigail Smith; Siblings Steven Maher, Ron Maher and Carol Elliott; numerous Great-Grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and best friend Ruth Showatter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin of 57 years, sisters Linda Rizzo and Sandra Clark, and brothers Robert Maher and Leroy Maher. Donna was a loving and creative woman who enjoyed making jewelry, quilting, embroidery, and crafting.
