Donna Lee LaMont

Donna Lee LaMont (Goracke), Age 75, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on April 9^th, 2024, at the Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions facility in Casper, Wyoming.   

Donna was born in Waseca, Minnesota to Louis and Esther Goracke on September 30^th, 1948.   She went to high school in Wells, MN and graduated in 1966.  Shortly after graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard LaMont and moved to Blue Earth, Minnesota where Richard lived.  She worked as a telephone operator in Blue Earth for a number of years.   She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, along with bird watching and gardening.  She was also an excellent cook and baker.  Donna was an outgoing person and easily made friends wherever she went.   

Donna is survived by her husband, Richard, and daughter, Jaime, both of Casper, Wyoming, her brother, Dennis Goracke of Spearfish, South Dakota, and her two grandchildren, Landen and Clay.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Esther Goracke and her brother, Skip Goracke.

Donna will be cremated, and her ashes taken back to Blue Earth, Minnesota for burial at a later date.   No other services or arrangements have been made at this time.
