Donald Eugene Wentz Born: July 14, 1936-Passed: January 6, 2019 Donald E. Wentz was born to Nellie Gertrude Tindle and Joseph Jack Wentz on July 14, 1936 in Omaha Nebraska. Don was one of 12 children born to his parents. Don was known for his charismatic demeanor and the ability to bring a smile to anyone's face with his sarcastic yet funny quips. He was an accomplished dancer and was well known for square dancing with his sister Darlene who was loving nicknamed by her younger brother Don as "Darlin". Don met Elwanda Burke in the fall of 1999 at the Avalon Club, where they shared their love of dancing and in her words "had a grand ole' time together". They were later married at Elwanda's home in Casper by the JP in a small ceremony with Elwanda's mother Sarah Bandy in attendance. Don was a member of the Eagle's where he and Elwanda spent a great deal of time together after they met and married listening to live music and dancing. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 8 brothers and his parents. Don is survived by his sister Darlene Hackworth, and four daughters Maiva, Waiva, "Lil" Dawn, Diana and 10 grandchildren as well as numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Don will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Elwanda and all his family and friends.
