Donald Dean "Captain" Rieke Jr. passed away at Wyoming Medical Center on September 18, 2019, surrounded by his loving family . A Celebration of Life per his request will be held Sunday September 29th at 2pm at the Elks Lodge.108 E. 7th Street Casper Wyoming. Please come and share your memories of Don with us. Don was born on January 3,1960 to Donald Rieke Sr. and Maryanne Rieke. He attended Mckinley Elementary, Dean Morgan Jr. High and Natrona County High School. He loved camping, four wheeling, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Don worked at several restaurants as a teenager with his mother such as the Pancake House and Rexes Inn and Out . After High School he worked for Casper Iron and Metal And Pacific Steel and Recycling as a welder and truck driver for many years, then to BFI/ Waste Connections where he was in charge of the recycling and drove truck as well as painting and repairing of containers. In 1980 he married the love of his life Marica Rieke. They had two beautiful children, Jesse Lee Rieke and Amanda Lynne Rieke. He loved his family more than anything and worked hard to provide for them. He was preceded in death by his mother Maryanne Rieke, his father Donald Rieke Sr., his sister Billie Gene, his grandmother, Sarah Ellis and his grandfathers, Verle Harlow and George Ellis. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marcia (Hanson) Rieke. His son Jesse Rieke (Nichole Haag), and their three daughters Chole, Dominica (Minnie) and Lennon. His daughter Amanda Rieke (Christoper Ruegsegger) and their children Christopher, Conner and Serenity, his sister Georgia Anne Glenn and many, many nieces and nephews.
