Donald Ohnstad

Services for Donald Laverne Ohnstad will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery, Evansville, Wyoming. Military honors will be accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and the Wyoming Army National Guard. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Interment will be at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Ohnstad, 81, passed away November 19, 2011 at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper. Donald was born September 7, 1930 in Medina, North Dakota to Albert Johan Ohnstad and Josephine Kantrud. He moved to Casper in 1942. From 1951 to 1953 he served in the U.S. Army. Donald worked for Amoco Refinery for 35 years, retiring in 1982. Survivors include four children, Leslie Anderson, of Tucson, AZ, Johan and Candice Ohnstad, Donnie and Bobby Ohnstad of Casper, six grandchildren, Leslie Anderson and Stephen of Tucson, AZ, Andrea (Ohnstad) and Kyle Tuma, Joshua Ohnstad, Misty Dawn Ray Ohnstad, and eight great grandchildren.
