Donald R. Hegdahl was born September 3, 1932 to Carl Ledvin Hegdahl and Rosina Diegel in Canova, South Dakota. He went to the North Dakota School of Science and became a Designer and Estimator. He served in the US Army from 1951 to 1954. He married Marian Fleming August 20, 1955 in Jasper, Minnesota. Donald belonged to several organizations; Jaycees, Mitchell Lions Club, American Legion, VFW and Handyman Club. He loved colleting stamps, coins and 1/32 & 1/34 scale model trucks and cars. Preceding him in death were his parents; Carl and Rosina Hegdahl, his infant sister, nephew; Jamie Oliver and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his wife, Marian, daughters Dawn (Matt) Seger, Diane Percival, sons; Dan Hegdal, Richard (Susan) Hegdal of Bellevue, WA, sisters Betty (Jim) oliver of Florence, AZ, Shirley (George) Michaels of Casper, WY, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
