Donald Elmer Carrier passed away September 2, 2020 at Wyoming Medical Center at the age of 95.
Don was born on November 19, 1924 to Floyd and Elsie Carrier in Casper, Wyoming. He graduated from Natrona County High School and later served in the U.S. Army during WW11 as a medic.
In 1946 Don married Betty Lenora Leimback and he would contribute at the Amoco Refinery until his retirement.
Don loved spending time with his family and the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, and was a renowned fly fisherman. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles, VFW, American Legion, Wyo Fly Casters, and the Federation of Fly Fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Carrier; sister, Willa Benardis and her husband, Matt Benardis; In-laws, Harry and Melda Leimback; grandson; Troy Ogden and nephew, Tom Leimback.
Don is survived by three daughters, Donna Parkinson, Darlene Benham, and Diana Gray (Garnett); nephews and niece and numerous grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9th at 2:00pm with burial scheduled for a later date at Oregon Trail Veteran Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home , 600 CY Avenue, Casper, WY 82601.
