Don Patrick McConigly

Don (Turtle) McConigly passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, due to complications from Covid. He was born on February 22, 1956, at Casper Memorial Hospital to Francis J. and Ethel McConigly. He lived his whole life in Casper, except for a short time in California following graduation from Kelly Walsh High School in 1974.

He was a hardworking, loving tower of strength to his wife Peggy, and to his kids, and grandkids. He was Papa Turtle to the greats and a special companion to his dogs and cats.

He was always generous with his vast knowledge of many things and was a source of information rivaling google.

He will be dearly missed by many who called him friend and will be forever mourned by the family he left behind. They are his wife, Peggy, his son, John (Beth) McConigly, daughter Christy (Lee) Palmer, daughter Carry (Ed) Bruckner, son Ryan Bailey, son Cory Bailey, brother Alan McConigly, many loving grandkids, and great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Services will be held at Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00 am.
