Memorial services for Mr. Don Marlow, of Casper, WY will be held at 1:00 pm, on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted. At age 95, Don Kenneth Marlow passed away December 9, 2015. Don was born June 25, 1920 to Gertie Polston and William Joseph Marlow in Lockwood, MO. He served his country in the US Army during World War II in the European Theater. In 1941 he married the love of his life; Bobby A. McLemore in Greenfield, MO. The wedding ceremony was performed by her uncle Rev. John Daughtery. Don had a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master's Degree in counseling. He taught music for over 20 years, managed the Super G Stations, and owned and operated Casper Distributing until September of this year. He was a member of Southern Baptist Church. He will always be remembered as loving father and grandfather. Nothing came before his love for Christ and his family, he truly lived every day of his life to serve the Lord and his family. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph William Marlow and Gertie Polston Marlow; three brothers, five sisters, and a grandson. He leaves behind his wife of seventy-four years, Bobby Marlow; two brothers, Joseph Marlow of Nevada, MO, and Howard Marlow of Kansas City, MO; eight children, Kenneth (Frances)Marlow of Sterling, CO, Carolyn Marlow of Casper, WY, Jerry Marlow of Oklahoma City, OK, Patricia (Larry) Chandler of Broken Arrow, OK, Bobby Marlow of Billings, MT, Mary (Richard) Kontz of Gallup, NM, David (Vicky) Marlow of Casper, WY, Peggy Marlow of Denver, CO, 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
