Services for Dixie Marie Page McDaniel will be held at 1:00 PM, October 22, 2011 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church with Rev. Philip Major officiating. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2011 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Dixie passed away October 17, 2011 at her home in Casper. Dixie Marie Page McDaniel was born July 1, 1940 in Valentine, NE. She was the eldest of six children, Jerry (Karen), Kay, Roy, & Robert (Cora). The family moved to Casper, 1954. She graduated from NCHS in 1958. Dixie married William (Bill) McDaniel on April 22, 1958. They had three sons: Stephen, Mark (Krista), Tom (Ann) Rlritaughter and Elizabeth Jarrard. Dixie was co-owner/bookkeeper for McDaniel Sheet Metal. She received her Realtor's License in 1979 & Broker's License in 1981. She retired in 1993. Dixie is survived by her four children, a sister, four brothers, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren & numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents Dale & Marie, & one brother Ray.
