JoAnn Kenyon

 Diedre JoAnn Kenyon was born to Ray Edwin and Nellie Lucille Wagner on September 16th, 1935 in Humboldt, Kansas. When JoAnn was 4 years old the family moved to Independence, Kansas, where she spent her childhood years. The family relocated to Rangely, Colorado in 1947. There she met the love of her life, Donnie Gene Kenyon, on a blind date. They were married December 8th, 1951 and spent 65 amazing years together. In 1964 they relocated to Wyoming. Donnie and JoAnn along with their son started their own successful company in 1977, Kenyon Trucking Inc.

 JoAnn enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with family and friends. She had a very strong relationship with God and shared her faith with those around her. She lived her life with kindness and passion.

 Survivors are her two daughters, Judy Collingwood, Mary (Tom) Lewallen; son Donald Ray (Shelly) Kenyon, all of Casper; 9 grandchildren,20 great-grandchildren,4 great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Donna Powell of Utah.

 She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son-in-law and one grandson.

 Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25th,2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Bustards & Jacoby. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday ,September 27th,2024 at Boyd Avenue Baptist Church in Casper , with Pastor Ed Tharp and Pastor Quinn Williams officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Boyd Avenue Baptist church or the Casper Humane Society.
