Diane Stewart

Our beloved, Diane Fay Stewart, age 51 passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016. Diane was overjoyed to be spending time with her two sons, Vincent and Adam, and he "baby girl" Gloria. She passed while visiting her son Adam's Casper home. Diane was born in Casper, Wyoming on September 27, 1964. She graduated from Natrona County High School and was a long time resident of Casper. The light in Diane's life is her children, grandchildren, and family. Diane is preceded in death by her brother, William "Billy" Stewart. May they be rejoined now and forever! Diane is survived by her three children Vincent James Hamelton, Adam Michael Lacey (and wife Shalynn) and daughter Gloria Elizabeth Martin. Also surviving her, are her three grandchildren Khloe Hamelton, Jack Lacey, and Paxton Lacey, her parents William and Gloria Stewart, one brother Steven Stewart (all of Casper), and one sister Sharon Cox with her husband Dennis of Wasilla Alaska. Diane is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a large number of honorary family and close friends. Diane was very proud to be part of the Lakota Rosebud Indian tribe, she was very passionate about her religion, and took part in many prayer chains, her faith in Jesus was very strong and she always looked forward to the day she would join Jesus in heaven. Diane counseled countless people to pray and put everything into the Lord's hands. Diane had many lifelong illnesses including, MS, diabetes, heart and lung problems and so much more. She suffered greatly in her life and is so blessed to now have her suffering put to an end. While on Earth Diane loved music of all kinds, she followed the careers of many artists but her ultimate favorite was AC/DC. She loved reading books, studying her bible, watching movies, and rocking out. She loved the mountains and often said she could not live anywhere without them. May she rest peacefully now in her mountain home. Viewing services will be held Tuesday May 31, 2016 at Bustard's Funeral Home from 4-7 PM, graveside services will be conducted by Reverend William H. Pierce of Imitate the Image Ministries at Highland Cemetery on 12th street at 1:00 PM. Gravesite is located near the mountain behind the cemetery administration building. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Bustard's to help offset expenses.
