Diane L. (Meyer) Hoover On October 25, 2018 Diane went home to the Lord. She was born January 21, 1952 in Sidney, MT to David A. and Phyllis G. Meyer. The family moved to Gillette, WY in 1960 where Diane grew up and went to school. At 16 years of age Diane was injured in a car accident and lived her life as a paraplegic, and how she lived. Diane was an amazing woman and accepted challenges with strength and courage. She never let her physical limitations stop her from enjoying all life had to offer, from volunteering as a counselor with handicap children at a camp with no running water to white water rafting in Jackson, Wyoming. As an independent young woman, Diane had her own home, traveled, had a career and then met the love of her life. On November 7, 1986 in Hawaii, David Hoover and Diane were married. In 1988 they were blessed with the arrival of their son, Michael. Diane always referred to David and Michael as her reasons for living. She loved them immensely and said she would deal with any difficulties in life and wouldn't change a thing as long as she got to live her life with David and Mike! Diane was a very creative soul, and loved her crafts. She enjoyed all crafts from cross-stitching to decoupage, and everything in between! Diane loved family and always wanted family around her and always welcomed visitors. She is survived by her husband, David, her son, Michael and his wife, Britteny, her brother, David A. Meyer Jr. and his wife, Jolene, her sisters, Jackie Meyer and Debbie Meyer, nieces, Abby Meyer and Jennifer Hall and nephews, Lee and Jason Meyer and John Hall, her Goddaughter, Candalera Hochnadel Slider, and so many more whose lives she touched. Diane was so very much loved by her family and they will miss her greatly. There will be a Memorial Service on October 31, 2018 at 11:00AM at Bustard's Funeral with Fr. Kevin Barrett Officiating.
