Diane Elizabeth Gunyan, 46, was born July 29th, 1964 to Richard and Shirley Gunyan in Boston, Mass. She lost her battle with lung cancer July 15th surrounded by her loved ones in Casper, Wyoming. She lived in many different parts of the country growing up, including Virginia Beach, Imperial Beach, California and Guam. In her teenage years her family lived in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She later moved to Camp Point, Illinois, then spent the last years of her life in Casper, Wyoming. In Casper she was employed by Common Cents Food Stores, Parkway Plaza and Convention Center, and Burger King; making many friends along the way. She always had a smile on her face and something positive to say. She was an avid Cat and Spider lover who surrounded herself with everything from dogs and cats to fish and snakes over the years. She had an open door policy to anyone in need. She loved heavy metal and rock n roll music. Her favorite thing to do was to attend concerts with her daughters and friends. Diane was survived by her grandmother, Elizabeth Daley of Boston, MA; her parents, Richard and Shirley Gunyan of Daniel, WY; several aunts and uncles; her brother, Joseph Gunyan of Wellsboro PA; her sisters, Karen (Martin) Gonzales of Daniel WY, and Deborah Gunyan of Woodstock, IL; her children, Leanne (Calvin) Cadwell, Michael (Lisa) Gunyan, and Nicole Gunyan all of Casper, WY; her grandchildren, Johnathan Gunyan Brooker, Joseph Gunyan, and Elizabeth Gunyan; and nieces, Kyla Gunyan and Ryelle Gunyan. Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 21st at Bustards Funeral Home at 600 C.Y. Ave., Casper, WY 82602 with Pastor Jim Shade officiating. A reception will be held at the Parkway Plaza at 4:00 P.M. following the service.
