Delores O'Dell

Services for Delores "Dee" Faye O'Dell will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Royce Brown, Chaplain at Central Wyoming Hospice Home officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery Mrs. O'Dell passed away peacefully October 29, 2010 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Casper. She was born July 11, 1929 in Deloit, Iowa where she was raised. She graduated from Deloit High School and was a graduate from the University of Iowa. She received her Master's at the University of Wyoming. She majored in Education. Delores taught in a one room schoolhouse in the country not far from Deloit. She worked at NCSD #1 until her retirement. Delores loved fishing, exploring, gardening and flowers. She married Donald O'Dell on June 9, 1960 in Jackson, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Rebecca Holihan and her husband, Donald O'Dell. Delores is survived by two brothers, Richard (Delores) Holihan of Deloit, Iowa and Michael (Cathy) Holihan of Alcova Lake, Wyoming; three sister-in-laws, Edna Pryich of Casper, Dorothy Holmes of Laramie and Donna (Tom) Bretthauer, brother-in-law, Douglas O'Dell of Laramie; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated by the family.
