Debra Jean Pimentel (Higgins)

Debra was born on December 23, 1963 to Ed and Karen Higgins in Peoria, Illinois. She was the younger sister to Kim (Burnham). Debra also went by Deb, or Debbie. She was a very short lady with a very huge unique personality. She was always cracking a joke and making you laugh. She was well known for saying Heller instead of hello. She was the party, unless you made her mad. She spoke what was on her mind and never sugar coated anything. She had no filter but had such a huge heart.

In her youth she loved to swim and climb the willow tree that was in her backyard. She joined the Navy at 16. Was a corpsman stationed in San Diego Ca. She was a hard worker dedicated to every job she had. In 1990, she met the love of her life Paul Pimentel and was married shortly after. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was the light in the room when she walked in.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Keren and father Ed Higgins.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and she will always be in are hearts forever.

She is survived by her ex-husband Paul Pimentel, two daughters Sharla Higgins and Lisa (Jauvonta) Collins, granddaughters Carmen and Jade, fur-grandbabies Honey, Budda, Lucy and Lou, Sister Kim (Kyle) Burnham, niece Taryn (David) Johnson, great niece Brooklyn and great nephew Roman. She is on a new journey watching over all her loved ones and will be deeply missed.
