Debbie Jo Hales-McLemore lived her life the same way she came into it, unconventionally and with zest. She was the third daughter, born in Casper on June 4, 1955 to Wayne and Beth Hales. On Nov. 5, 2018, Debbie lost a courageous battle with a truly cowardly opponent, cancer. After graduating from Kelly Walsh High School, Debbie went to work for KTWO Television as the Traffic Manager until 1997 when she went to KTWO Radio where she was employed as the Business Manager until the death of her parents during the 2013 holidays. Debbie grew up enjoying her summers at the Casper Water Ski Club with her two older sisters, Judy and Linda. In her youth, she was a champion slalom skier and jumper (yes, water ski jumper). Debbie loved lake life and the people out there and continued to go until health reasons prevented it this past summer. When she wasn't water skiing, she was cultivating her garden, sewing, cooking, alpine skiing with her family and raising numerous fur babies. She met Mike McLemore in 1985 and married him in 1988 on the Ski Club lawn. In 1991 she gave birth to Kiefer Cody and introduced him and her stepson, Jason, to the Lake Life. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Beth Hales and her sister, Linda Lindley of Laramie in 2013 and 2016 respectively. She is survived by her oldest sister, Judy Hales of Roseville, CA, spouse Mike McLemore, son Kiefer (girlfriend Marissa Brammer), stepson Jason (fiancee Betsy Taucher) all of Casper, nephew Michael Bunning (Mia) of El Dorado Hills, CA, nephew Dr. Todd Bunning (Monica) of Granite Bay, Ca, nephew Greg Lindley (Stephanie) of Casper, and niece Dr. Michala Lindley of Pullman, WA. The family would like to thank all of the medical professionals that helped and added their personal caring touches as well as all of the friends and family members that added their support and comfort along the way. We love all of you. A Celebration of Life will happen sometime this summer when the weather is warm and people are happy, so be ready. If anyone would like to make a donation, please choose your favorite charity or perhaps think of the Casper Humane Society, Debbie liked them. Donations may be made to: Casper Humane Society 849 E.
