Dean Lewin

Memorial services for Dean W. Lewin will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Elks BPO Lodge #1353, 107 East 7th Street in Casper, Wyoming. Dean, 57, passed away May 14, 2014 at Central Wyoming Hospice Center in Casper. He was born June 27, 1956 in Placerville, CA, the son of Mary (Barrett) and Jerry Lewin. He attended Powell College. He was a concrete plant manager. He had a great sense of humor! Dean met Denise Penk on Valentine's Day, 1981. On July 22, 1989, they were married. He is survived by his wife, Denise of Casper, daughter, Jennifer Elmer of Evanston and her children, Jonathan, Ethan, Dallas and Charlee, his mother, Mary Lewin of Shingle Springs, CA, sister and brother-in-law, Kari and Terry Buhman of Placerville, CA, his brother, Paul Lewin of Oregon. He is also survived by his nephews, John (Lisa) Buhman and their daughters, Kaitlyn and Isabel; Matt (Tammy), Bill and Mike, all of the Placerville, CA area. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lewin and his nephew, Jeffrey Buhman.. Memorials may be made for the Support Families of Alcoholics Group and may be left at Bustard's Funeral Home.
