David Edwards

David Scott Edwards was born July 3, 1971 and was sent to heaven on September 17, 2018. He was born to Gerald Perzee and Bonnie (Key) Todd in Watseka, Illinois. David graduated high school in Rawlins, Wyoming in 1989. He moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska where he met the love of his life Angela Petersen in 1993 and they married on February 27, 1997. They made their home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska with their 4 children before moving to Rawlins, Wyoming and then onto Casper, Wyoming. He managed numerous restaurants and was working for Schwans Food Service for the last 8 years as Area Manager. David was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and uncle, but most of all he enjoyed being PAPA to his 2 grandchildren. David enjoyed being with family and friends traveling, camping and riding 4-wheelers. He enjoyed watching Nebraska Corn Huskers and Denver Bronco games and wrestling. He especially enjoyed family game night. To get to know David you had to get past the shy, quiet demeanor you knew you were part of his circle when he would tease and joke with you and he would love you unconditionally. He had a good sense of humor and loved helping friends and neighbors without asking for anything in return. His heart was as big as him, big man, big heart. David is survived by the love of his life, Angela (Petersen) Edwards for 25 years. 1 son, James Edwards and Katarina of Casper, Wyoming; 3 daughters, Stephanie Edwards, April Edwards and Brady; Tiffany (Michael) Hess of Casper, Wyoming; mother, Bonnie Todd of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; 4 brothers, Wayne (Tiffany) Perzee of Gulfport, MI; Ryan Perzee of Oshkosh, WI; Gerry Perzee of Magnolia, IL, James Edwards of Scottsbluff, NE; 4 sisters, Sheila (John) Crosby of Minonk, IL; Marsha Rhode of Scottsbluff, NE; Tena (Manny) Rodriguez of Redgranite, WI and Paula Lawse and Russ of Redgranite, WI. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Perzee; stepmother, Brenda Perzee, father-in-law, Kenneth Peterson Sr.; mother-in-law, Marilyn Peterson; niece, Alayna Edwards and siter-in-law, Shelly Edwards. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper with Reverend Dee Lundberg officiating. Memorial contributions may be sent to the family in care of Bustard's Funeral Home.
