David Benson

David Douglas Benson (28) of Casper, WY, died at his home Friday, July 29th, 2016. He was born May 16th, 1988 to Chad Benson and Michele Leigh Brown, of Casper, WY. David spent his early years in Casper, but moved to Utah for short time before returning home to Casper. He received his GED in 2006 and eventually went on to work in the oil industry. He loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt & Dale Earnhardt Jr., attending several races. David had a passion for football, especially the Green Bay Packers. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and riding horses with his Grandpa Benson. He was fiercely loyal and loved with his whole heart. He had an infectious smile and laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son; his grandparents, Bob and Marla Benson; his parents, Chad and Loa Benson and Michele Brown; his siblings, James Benson, Aubrey Bowden, Alicia Gardner, Brandon Gardner, Caleb Benson and Michele Martin; as well as his aunts Rebel Benson, Cody Denver, Amy Jones, and Bobbi Dayton along with other numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Viewing (9:30 AM) and funeral services (11:00 AM) will be held Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wolf Creek (3931 W 45th St), Casper, WY 82604. Interment will be in the Lovell Cemetery, Lovell, WY, on Thursday, August 4th, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
