Darlene Fronk

Darlene Jo Fronk, age 64, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on January 1, 2020, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY.  Darlene was born to George and Dolores Patik on January 19th, 1955 in Lander, WY.

Darlene grew up and graduated from high school in Lander, WY.  After high school she was married and from that union she had three boys, George, Jeffery, and Brian.  She was united in marriage on May 28th, 2006 to her love of her life Dale Roy Fronk.  Darlene and Dale moved to Alliance, NE in 2001 where she went back to College to fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Darlene loved being a nurse, she took great pride in her work, and cared for many, many people over her nursing career.  She worked several years for Dr. Himes, in Scottsbluff, NE and later for Skyview Nursing Home in Bridgeport, NE and most recently when she and Dale moved to Casper, WY she worked at Poplar Living Center.

Darlene loved spending time doing anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, riding ATV’s, gardening, camping or sitting around a camp fire and she loved these times the most when she was with her husband and her boys.  She never wanted the adventures with her family to end and couldn’t wait until the next time they all got together. She always was ready to spend time with the people she cared about. Because Darlene loved the outdoors so much she was always so excited to go to Hawaii with her husband every year for a month, in the winter time, to enjoy as much fun in the sun as she could.  Darlene was extremely loyal to everyone she loved and was always there to talk to when you needed someone.  She was an incredibly fun person to be with always ready to share lots of laughs with the people around her. Even though she is gone, she has left the legacy of her love.  The way she touched our lives with remain forever and we will all have so many memories of the times we shared with her.

She is survived by her husband Dale Fronk of Casper, WY; her sons George (Cindi) Heinrich of Rock Springs, WY, Jeffery (Sarah) and granddaughter Shyenne Heinrich of Lander, WY, and Brian (Melissa) Heinrich of Alliance, NE grandchildren Madisen, Kysen and Darius; her mother Dolores Patik of Lander, WY; her sisters Dorothy (Glen) Pierson of Lander, WY and Georgia (Ron) Osban of Manderson, WY and 3 grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father George Patik and her grandparents.

A memorial service for Darlene will be held this summer in the mountains outside of Lander, WY with her family.  Cards and condolences can be sent in care of Dale Fronk, 3421 Providence Court #2, Casper, WY 82609.
