Daniel Ellis

Memorial services for Mr. Daniel Wayne Ellis, 66, of Casper, WY, will be held at 4:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Highland Park Community Church with Pastor Chris Kinner officiating. Daniel passed away surrounded by his family on March 22, 2014, in Casper, WY. Daniel, a Wyoming native, he was born on November 2, 1947 in Douglas, WY to Mr. Francis Marion Ellis and Mrs. Eleanor (Dodrill) Ellis. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1967. In 1976, he married Judy Olsen. Together they cared for 2 children, Jennifer (Ellis) Louthan of Tennessee, and Philip Ellis of Casper. Later he was blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren. Dan last worked for the Natrona County Sherif's office as a radio dispatcher. Mr. Ellis was a true man of faith and was very involved in his church, Highland Park Community Church. He also enjoyed building model airplanes and spending time hunting and fishing out in God's country. Dan was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He leaves us all with a void in our hearts that can never be filled, but today we rejoice and thank God for all of the precious moments and memories that He gave us.
