Dale Benson

Dale Leslie Benson, 66, passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon May 28th, 2019 with his family by his side. Dale was born November 11th,1952 in Joliet, Illinois to Maggie Jones and John Benson. He met the love of his life, Robin Kempke when they were teenagers and married May 11th, 1976. Together they raised 3 children in Joliet before moving to Casper in 1991. He worked hard as a carpenter, the fixer of most everything. He liked playing pool, partying, enjoyed watching Jeopardy and crime shows, he loved working in his shop so much, fishing with Mom, any kind of fishing, floating the river, camping, even built an awesome teardrop camper for them. He loved garage sales and he loved his music! He could tell you anything about most any kind of music or old band if you had a few hours or even just a few minutes to listen. One of his truest loves are his grandkids whom brought so much joy and made him so proud! Dale was preceded in death and greeted by his parents; 4 of his brothers, Robert, Rick, Ron and Jim; and his 5 sisters, Jean, Carol, Dee, Terry and Nancy He is survived by his best friend of over 43 years, Robin, oldest son Eric (Natalie), son Dan, daughter Jenny (Mark), daughter Jen (Kriss); 3 granddaughters, Ava, Becky and Amelia and 4 grandsons, Shawn, Kriss Jr., Avery and Oliver, he loved them all so very much; 3 brothers, Tom, Kenny and Daryl; best friend Clayton and numerous nephews and nieces. Hang with Jimi and breathe in the peace, Dad. We promise, promise we will never forget you and we love you so very much, forever.
