Crystal Lea Miller "The Artist" Crystal went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2013. It is in heaven that she was reunited with her mother Darla Davenport, and her beloved friend Daniel West whom she loved so dearly. She was also reunited with many other family members including grandparents and her Aunt Connie. There will be no services at this time. Crystal was born on October 9, 1984. She was the apple of her Nana's eye. She was multi-talented; a proven artist drawing many structures and businesses throughout Casper. Her portfolio also included many portraits of family, friends and celebrities. She could be seen during the nice weather drawing on her bench near the hospital on East 2nd Street, downtown or at the Eastridge Mall. Crystal loved her life; she was vibrant, had a contagious smile, and knew exactly where her "future" was going. She had a beautiful voice that inspired us all. Her passion was dancing and she shared it with many friends. Crystal graduated with her class at Natrona County High School and went on to attend Casper College. Crystal triumphed over much in her life and was a 28 year old self-sufficient young lady who was able to move mountains with her faith. She loved her Church Family at the First United Methodist Church. Her pastor's, Brian and Chris Oliver held her close to their hearts. Crystal became a pillar in the church, she shared much of her talents with the church and drew herself to the love that God had for her there. Crystal is survived by her grandmother, Bonnie Van Norman; her baby brothers, William Miller and Joshua Davenport; her uncle's, Danny Cook and Bill Cook (who was in her own words, "the father figure in her life"); cousin Amarah Cook; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her Nana extends a special "Thank You" to the "Angels in Blue" at the Casper Police Department who protected and watched after Crystal. Condolences for the family may be mailed to 518 S. Washington St., Casper, WY 82601. The family would appreciate in Crystal's memory, donations to the First United Methodist Church for their Youth and Outreach Programs at 332 East 2nd Street, Casper, WY 82601.
