Cortney Eye

Cortney Rae Jeffries-Eye passed away at the young age of 36. Cortney passed from natural causes in Casper, Wyoming. Cortney was born in Casper Wyoming at Wyoming Medical Center in August 1978 to Renae (Haines) Jeffries-Thomas and Jim Jeffries. She later had a baby sister, Amy Jeffries-Roland join her in the family. These two girls later became inseparable. In 2001 Cortney married her husband Christopher Eye and they later had one beautiful daughter, Caitlyn Eye. Cortney was a proud lifelong member of The American Legion Auxiliary. Cortney was always very optimistic and easy going. She never missed a chance to reminisce and tell stories. She had a smile that just reached out and grabbed you. It is a terrible loss to have her gone at such a young age. She will be greatly missed. Cortney was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Haines, and her father Jim Jeffries. Cortney is survived by her mother Renae (Haines) Jeffries Thomas, stepfather Gary Thomas, sister Amy Jeffries-Roland, brother in law and nephew Tyler and Mason Roland, Aunt Sue Ellen Zigliotto, husband Christopher Eye, daughter Caitlyn Eye and many, many other family and friends. There will be a celebration of life held for Cortney at 1565 South Elm, Casper, Wyoming, from 1pm-4pm, and a private family service held afterwards for the scattering of the remains.
