It is with great sadness that the family of Corey Dean Blare announces his sudden passing, on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the age of 59. Corey will be forever, lovingly remembered by his wife Jan, his mother Wanda Blare (Jerry Hamaker), brothers Jerry Blare (Helen) and Lonnie Blare, son Corey Daniel Blare, stepsons Cody Hoskinson (Alysa), Casey Hoskinson (Shelby) and Colter Hoskinson, granddaughter Bailey Hoskinson and his longtime friend and confidant Landon Green (Deanna). Corey will also be fondly remembered by his distant grandchildren, in-laws, extended family, nieces, nephews and countless dear friends. Everyone was "family" to Corey and he never knew a stranger. He was predeceased in death by his father Lyle Blare and brothers Randy and Ricky Blare. Corey was born in Igloo, SD, and lived in Edgemont, SD until his junior year in high school. He then moved to Alliance, NE and graduated from Alliance High School in 1977. Corey began his career with the BNSF Railroad on June 13, 1978 and worked as a conductor for over 40 dedicated years. Corey will be remembered by his genuine, infectious smile, his friendly, outgoing personality, and his ability to make people laugh. He loved to spend time at the lake camping and "hanging out" on the boat. He loved shooting pool, traveling, spending time with friends and family, particularly his granddaughter Bailey. But most of all, he loved spending time with the love of his life, Jan. A Funeral Service for Corey will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at the Restoration Church - 411 S. Walsh Drive, Casper, Wyoming with Pastor Tim Adams officiating. Those who so desire may make memorial donations to the gofundme page that Corey's co-workers at the railroad have set up in his memory.
