Cora Innes, a beloved member of the Casper, Wyoming community, flew to the angels on June 26, 2023. She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on May 8, 1932. Cora's dedication and unwavering commitment to her profession was evident throughout her career as a bookkeeper for Fleet Bed & Body for an impressive 26 years. Cora's passion for numbers and meticulous attention to detail made her an invaluable asset to Fleet Bed & Body. Her colleagues often admired her expertise in managing financial records with unparalleled precision. Cora approached her work with a sense of discipline and integrity that set a high standard for others to follow.
Outside of her professional life, Cora enjoyed crossword puzzles, computers, and immersing herself in the pages of countless books. Her thirst for knowledge knew no bounds, and she embraced every opportunity to challenge herself intellectually. Cora's love for reading not only enriched her own life but also inspired others around her. She married the love of her life, Richard Innes, in New Orleans, Louisiana, on August 14, 1965.
Cora will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her loving sons, Wallace Holbrook, David Holbrook, Paul Holbrook, Mark Holbrook and their families.
Cora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Innes, her parents, Clifford and Rose Field, as well as her brother Clifford Field. Their memories will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who loved them.
In addition to Richard Innes, Cora leaves behind a circle of cherished friends who brought immeasurable joy to her life. These individuals provided unwavering support during difficult times and shared countless moments of laughter and companionship with Cora.
It is impossible to encapsulate the full extent of Cora's impact in a mere obituary. She was a source of inspiration, compassion, and strength to those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy will endure through the lives she touched and the memories she left behind.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at The Hope Church, 520 South Walnut in Casper.
