Clayton A. Bitzan was born November 29, 1934 to Anton and Dora (Wagner) Bitzan at Millerville, Minnesota. Growing up on the farm he started employment as a mechanic in Elbow Lake, Minnesota then to Shur Ford, and then with Northern Propane Gas Co as LP gas technician for over 30 years in Fergus Falls, MN. June 15th he married Gloria Zaccardi at Our Lady of Victory Church, Fergus Falls, MN. He built the first home on the east side of Wall Lake then a second home in 1969 enjoying the lake. In 1973 they moved to a farm near Stalker Lake, south east of Underwood, MN. The home was a buzz with people always, as he had a small engine business which he taught his boys to do. The girls having horses, animals of all kinds, and crops of wheat and soy beans. In 1998 they moved to Casper to join their children that had moved here. His love of God was most important raising his family. His hobbies included Elk and Deer hunting, fishing especially in the fish house on the ice, dancing the polka, gardening, feeding the birds and helping his kids with their home projects. There was nothing Clay could not fix and was very handy helping others always. Survivors include his wife, Gloria, his children Lisa (Mark) Keele of Buckeye, AZ, Brian (Lynn) Bitzan, Julie Moore and Paul (Cassie) Bitzen, all of Casper. Grandchildren; Crystal (Gus) Card of Minot, ND, Austin (Melissa) Linder of Moorhead MN, Shane Bitzan of Casper, WY and Marshall Huseth of Buckeye, AZ. Also 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lowell. Blessed be the Memory of Clayton Bitzan.
