Claudette Cathcart

Claudette “Claudie” Cathcart, age 84, of Glenrock, Wyoming, passed away on July 3, 2024 in Casper Wy.

 She attended school in Bristol, Va and Santa Rosa, CA after moving across the country with her family. She married Bill Cathcart in 1956 and they settled in Colorado to raise their family. Claudette went on to raise 7 children while working odd jobs for many years before becoming a small business owner. After moving to Wyoming she served her community for 25 years at Glenrock, WY.

Claudette is survived by children Vicke Owens, Terri Gonsalves, Nicki Buxmann, Kelly Alt, Lonny Cathcart as well as 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wayne and Margaret Pippin, her husband, Bill Cathcart and two children, Marty Cathcart and Cindy Stewart. Claudette was a very strong, hard-working person who through many struggles, displayed wit and humor while maintaining true compassion, love and generosity. She will be incredibly missed by all that that knew her.
