Clare Schroder, 79, of Casper, WY passed away October 14, 2014 at his home in Casper from complications of myelofibrosis. Clare was born on the farm in Vici, Oklahoma to Dixie and Clarence Schroder. He attended school in Vici, went to college in Wichita and went on to work in the oilfields for 30 years at Oil Well Perforators in Casper. Clare shared this love for music with many by playing the classical/acoustic guitar, singing and enjoying music since he was a boy. He volunteered and played for many retirement homes around Casper making others happy. He was truly one of a kind with many talents and exceptional character - honest, caring and always ready for an adventure. Clare was a beautiful man, a loving husband, a wonderful father and awesome grandfather. Clare is survived by his loving wife, Frances; daughters, Sharon (Bill), Margaret (Don) and Teresa (Steve); and devoted grandfather of two grandchildren, Travis and Brooke. Clare was preceded in death by his parents, Dixie and Clarence; brother, Dale Schroder; and his daughter, Jacquelyn. Please join Clare's family for a Celebration of his life on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. for a service at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with a reception to follow at the Petroleum Club. There will be a scriptural Rosary at Bustard's at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19th. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Anthony's Tri-Parish Catholic School Music Department.
