Mass of Christian Burial for Clara R. Goff, 94, will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church by Father Philip Vaske. Visitation will be at Bustard's Funeral Home from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Vigil for the Deceased will be recited at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Bustard's. Rite of Committal will be conducted at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Goff died on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Life Care Center in Casper. She was born June 28, 1915 in Kansas City, MO., the daughter of William James and Clara Violia (Van Patter) Roberts. The family came to Wyoming in 1917 and homesteaded near Orin Junction. Clara received her schooling at the Orin Junction School and Converse County High School. On October 16, 1934, she married Edmond L. Goff and they made their home in Casper. She worked at the Rocky Mountain Packing Plant and then for Kistler Tent and Awning from 1972, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Saint Anthony's Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post 991 and Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She also volunteered at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home and for the March of Dimes for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edmond, brothers, James Roberts, William Roberts and Thomas Roberts and sisters, Anna Marie Roberts, Rose Story, Katherine Stiffler and Margaret Smith. She is survived by one son, Edmond L. "Buddy" Goff and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Cross, Meals on Wheels or a charity of the donor's choice would be equally appreciated.
