Clara Mae (Snodgrass) Carr April 5, 1931 - October 4, 2016 Former Kaycee resident Clara Mae (Snodgrass) Carr, 85, died while living at Shepherd of the Valley care center, Casper. Clara went to her Heavenly home on October 4, 2016, to be with her Lord Jesus and her lifelong love, Jack L. Carr. Born April 5, 1931 to Irvin and Effie Mae Snodgrass, in Keyrock, West Virginia, Clara enjoyed music while growing up including singing with her family on a local radio station KWYO, Pineville, West Virginia. After high school graduation Clara moved to Omaha, Nebraska to live with her sister, where Clara met the love of her life Jack Carr. (Married December 3, 1950) Clara and Jack moved to Kaycee where they purchased and operated The Telephone Store until 1979. Clara's vibrant personality and love for life and people, made it easy for all who knew her to fall in love with her and have very fond memories of Clara. Clara and Jack also lived in Buffalo for a time, South Boardman, Michigan and Golden Valley, Arizona. Clara was a member of Kaycee Baptist Church, Kingman Community Church and she was part of Eastern Star as Jack was a Mason. Clara's survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline (Carr) Hill and her husband Chris Hill of Casper, a son Patrick and his wife Kitty of Golden Valley, Arizona. Clara had 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Clara is preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and her husband of 59 years. Memorial services are pending for a later date. Cremation has taken place.
