Christine "Chrissy" Ray Williams

Christine Ray Williams was born June 12th, 1969 to Ron Hughes and Ruthie Needham in Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. Christine passed away March 3rd at Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming. She was raised in Casper and attended the SDA Church School, Dean Morgan Junior High, and graduated in1987 from Natrona County High School. It was at NCHS that she met the love of her life, Keith Williams, they would marry on June 18th, 1989. Following this she would go to Casper College. Then, she and her husband enlisted into the army in March of 1989. Chrissy completed her basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, then completed her combat medical training at Fort Sam Houston. Chrissy was stationed at Wiesbaden Air Force Base, Germany. She would serve in the 557th ambulance company and become one of the main psychiatric ambulances because of her skill in keeping her patients calm. She became a Commander’s secretary and was seen as invaluable for her work. Chrissy was honorably discharged after becoming pregnant with her first child. Following military service, Chrissy worked many jobs. Notably in Wyoming Medical Center’s Records Department and for many years at FedEx Grounds with her husband. However, she spent years as a stay at home mother and also following 2012 she became her husband’s caregiver. During her life she struggled with alcoholism, however, at the time of her passing she had been ten years sober.

 Christine is survived by her husband of 35 years, Keith Williams. Her three children; Randi Williams, Pierce Williams, and Jordin Williams. Her granddaughter; Seraphina Saxton. Her father and stepmother; Ron and Starla Hughes. Her mother; Ruthie Needham. As well as her siblings; Ben Hughes, Michael Hughes, and Dawn Reese.

 Christine is preceded in death by her grandparents; Frank & Leona Lujan, Clarence Needham, Lloyd & Eva Eldredge, and Mary Mae Mousseau. As well as her in-laws; Gus & Bonnie Williams.

 Services will be held on March 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at Casper Seventh-Day Adventist Church (2625 Casper Mountain Road)
