Christine Perkins

November 5, 1922 — April 9, 2014

Christine passed away into eternal life on April 9, 2014 at the Wyoming Medical Center. She was born in Winfield Kansas on November 5, 1922 to Sadie and Ora Johnson. Christine married Leroy Perkins on July 26, 1942. They had 6 children. After World War II they made their home in Wyoming. Christine was a stay at home Mom, a Gold Star cook, and even at age 91 no one could match her expertise in needle work. She spent many years giving her time and talents at Paradise Valley Christian Church teaching little ones about Jesus. For the last 8 years she resided at Garden Square, in the loving and caring hands of all the people who worked there. She is survived by her children Penny LeFevre (Dave), Mark Perkins (Mary), Ann Jones (Jim), and Cody Frederick (Scott), and 11 grand children and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sisters and 2 sons (Carter and Samuel), and 1 grandson. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at 10am at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be sent to Joshua's Storehouse.
