Christina Wirtala

Christina Passed away suddenly of a short illness September 8, 2016 at the age of 43. Christina was born just before Christmas December 12, 1972 to William and Lou Cardran in Huntington Beach, CA. It was the best early Christmas present ever. She lived in Huntington Beach till she was two then moved to Northern California and from there to Washington State. In 1982 she moved with her family to Casper, WY where she met the love of her life Sean L. Wirtala. They married July 27, 1992 in Casper, WY. They have two beautiful children, Ashlee and Chasee, which she adored. She spent her days as a stay at home mom. She was always known to have a big heart for all children no matter what age. She was the family's baby sitter and fill in mom. If you left her house hungry, it was your own fault as she extended her home and food to everyone. She dearly loved all the kids in the family and our weekly family BBQs. At all birthdays she made her family famous chocolate pudding cake. She would arrive with party favors, ready to party! She always thought of others first and was ready to help others anytime. She is survived by her husband, Sean Wirtala; children, Ashlee and Chasee Wirtala; mother and father, Bill and Lou Cardran; brother, William Cardran, Jr.; mother-in-law, Carol Wirtala; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and extended family members. Christina's Memorial Services for Friends and Family will be held Thursday, Sept. 15th 6pm-8pm at the Eagles FOE, 306 S. Durbin, Casper, WY. Light Snacks will be available. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the surviving family at the memorial service.
