‘Charlie’ Charles A Crofutt, long time resident of Casper Wyoming, passed away May 12, 2020 at the age of 75. Charlie was born December 4, 1944 in Lusk Wyoming, son of Lawrence I Crofutt and ‘Tiny’ Verva (Bryant) Crofutt. Charlie enlisted in the US Navy in 1965 serving four years with honorable discharge in 1969. Charlie continued with many professions with primary occupation as a Truck Driver retiring in 2009. Charlie remained in Casper during his retirement years and was a long-time member of the Casper Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie and Auxiliary 306.
Survivors includes a brother ‘Dave’ Lawrence Crofutt and wife Barbara (Wyoming), a son, Thomas R Crofutt (Wyoming), a daughter, Stephanie A Crofutt (Florida), six grandchildren, Tiffany Macejak (California), Jordan McTee (Florida), Tierra Bentley (Texas), Bret Crofutt (Wyoming), Kasey Crofutt (Wyoming), Hailey McTee (Florida), and two great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna and his parents. Charlie was interred at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville Wyoming Tuesday May 26, 2020. Memorial Service to be hosted by FOE 306, date TBD.
