Catherine I. "Katy" Noah passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016, in her home surrounded by her loving family and her faithful little doggie, Spike. She was born in Ardmore, SD on October 21, 1926, to Ralph and Ina (Jewett) Larson. She graduated from Lusk High School in 1944 as Salutatorian. She then went on to attend the Barnes School of Commerce in Denver, CO. On June 21, 1946, she married the love of her life, Ray A. Noah at the Congregational Church in Lusk, WY. Katy worked at Caper College as Office Manager of Admissions for 15 years. After retirement she and Ray enjoyed traveling together. They made numerous trips to the East Coast to visit family. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family near and far. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Woodbine Chapter #18 and Casper Assembly No. 70 Social Order of Beauceant. Katy is survived by three daughters, Nancy Adell Noah of Casper, WY, Cathy Ray Lokes and her husband Bill of Slatington, PA, and Ann Marie Ghelber of Arlington, VA. Katy enjoyed her eight grandchildren, Cathy Ann Bryan (Tayna), Brandy Martinez (Manuel), Janie Pommerer (Michael), Daniel Berryman (Melissa), Erin Wilde (Jim), Heather Calhoun (Brandon), William Lokes IV (Amy), and Emily Federico (Joe). Katy also enjoyed her sixteen great-grandchildren, Brandy Marie Bryan (Tom), Raymon, Trey, Tevyn, Mateo, and Natalia Martinez, Hayden Berry, Quinten, Derek, and Ellie Berryman, Clara and Louis Wilde, Adelynn, Rhett, and Tessa Calhoun, and Katie Lokes. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Janie Middaugh and her husband Larry of Casper, WY, and Chattie Hewitt of Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, two sisters-in-law, one son-in-law, and one great-granddaughter, Darlene Lokes. Katy was a beautiful soul who graced this earth and all who came into contact with her. Memorial services will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church. Per Katy's request, the family requests that friends wear colorful clothing instead of black mourning clothes. Donations may be sent to Central Wyoming Hospice, Transitions, or to an organization of the donor's choice.
