Carol May Summers, born Quillen, 78 passed away July 20th 2015, at her home, from effects of lung cancer, surround by loved ones. Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, July 29th 1937, to Virgil and Ejilda (Santuary) Quillen. She went thru various schools in her youth, finishing NCHS in Casper. She married Wyoming Army National Guardsman, Dale Summers, 4 Jun 1955. They moved to Cheyenne, in Dee 1955, where Dale worked as an Aircraft Mechanic for the Army National Guard, Aviation Section. Carol work as an operator for AT&T. In 1963 they move to Casper. Carol worked for Wyoming National Bank, until her retirement. She joined her husband as co-owner of Summers Consulting Services. Working along side Dale, on Department Of Defense Contracts, as Quality Control Representatives, in Wyoming and Nebraska. She was the mother of 4 boys, Donald, Kenneth, Ted & Glenn. Her's was an avid Outdoors Family, with the Casper Water Ski Club for over 10 years. Vacationing in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, which she loved. Joined the National Campers & Hikers Assoc. and RV camping for over 50 years. She was very talented in her hobby of Crafts, Quilts, painting and crocheting & knitting. Her quilting resulted in over 100 quilts, always finding recipients. She is survived by her husband Dale of 60 years, 4 Sons, and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her brother Ronald Quillen, and sister, Barbara Quillen-Stalick. She was preceded by her Mother, and Father. Please send all donations to Hospice.
