Carol Strohecker

Memorial services for Carol Jean Strohecker will be held at a later date. Mrs. Strohecker, 81, passed away September 22, 2012 at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper following a lengthy illness. She was born April 28, 1931 in Powell, Wyoming. She was a homemaker for many years and later became a bookkeeper working for firms in the Casper area. She married Bernard Strohecker on November 15, 1947 on the Strohecker Ranch, Powder River, Wyoming. Mrs. Strohecker enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and attending to abandoned animals. She is survived by her husband, Bernard of Casper, son, Carroll James Strohecker of Casper, son John J. Strohecker of Riverton, daughter Dale Marie Simmons of Vacaville, CA, eight granddaughters, and 17 great grandchildren.
