Carl (Corky) Gilstrap, joined his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Hospice Center in Casper after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He loved tending bar and liked all the people he met. He retired in 2008. He met Debbie Farrington while they both worked at "Studio 9" and they later married. He loved his family and wanted the best for his girls. He loved baseball and while he was young, playing in Little League, pitched a no-hitter. He also loved to golf and hit a hole-in-one about 1990. He attended NCHS with the class of 1962. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, three daughters, Carla of California, Natalie and Ashley of Casper, mother, Elsie Gilstrap. Also a sister, Donna and her husband, Richard Culbertson and Donna's Children, Todd, Scott and Sherry Crimm, all of Casper, one granddaughter, Paige of California, several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Gilstrap in 2005 and his grandparents. Memorials may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church Building Fund.
