Camille Christine MacManus, 89, passed away on December 1, 2018 at Wyoming Medical Center. Camille was the youngest of 7 children and was born on December 5, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Christine Gertz. She lived in Oklahoma briefly but soon made her home in Casper, WY and met the love of her life Gordon MacManus. Between the two of them they had 3 children, Christine, Cameron, and Kevin. Camille was very active in her children's lives but also worked full time at Safeway for many years until retirement and then went on to work as a greeter at Greiner Ford until she finally really retired at the age of 85. She was loved and respected by many people and her happiness and zest for life was very contagious. Camille was very strong and stubborn, which helped carry her through her 3 battles of cancer and in the end a broken hip. Her light will carry on. Camille was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, her husband Gordon, and one great granddaughter. She is survived by her 3 children, Chris (Dan), Cameron (Christy), Kevin (Julie); 10 grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Teresa, and Tyler, Brent, Steven, Allysa, and Brandon, Kylee, and Megan; as well as 15 great grandchildren. The services will be on Friday December 7, 2018 at 1:00pm at Bustards Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery following the service.
