Bryan "Scott" Wolff, 53, beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many- went home to his Lord & Savior where the greatest peace lies Nov. 8, 2014. Scott was the Wyoming modern day Mountain man that knew how to indulge his senses. Sight...watching a tipup flag pop up while ice fishing, while walking-seeing a mule deer or elk shed hiding behind sagebrush. He loved the sound of a bell ringing with a big catfish pulling on the other end of the line, and the sound of a screaming bull elk echoing on the other side of the ridge. His favorite perfume was the smell of a blooming sage brush in the morning dew, the mixture of pine & a high mountain stream, & the scent of a rutting bull elk drifting through the timber. He loved the taste of a cold beer after a long day at work, hunting, fishing and sharing that moment with family & friends. You would not leave Scotts presence without receiving a warm, firm & compassionate hug ending with the words "I Love You" being said. His passion for his family & outdoors was unmatchable. Scott was the most selfless person, without hesitation he would give up his fishing rod or rifle to watch others achieve their dreams before his own, that was his satisfaction. His children, brothers, and others have caught many trophy class trout, catfish, and walleyes that were hooked by his wrist and rod. When it came to hunting Scott would always give his partner, whether friend or family, the option to take the first shot. He gave up all his personal glory for someone else to feel and reep the rewards. Scott also loved to teach the younger generation the values and ethics of fishing, and hunting. He has, and will always be the soul role model of the true "Outdoorsman". He was born in Riverton, Wy July 12, 1961 to parents Wiley "Ike" & Norma Wolff. He attended Fort Casper Elementary School, CY Junior High, graduated from Natrona County High School in 1980, he spent many years working in the Casper & Gillette branches of Wyoming Machinery Company, and spent the last 15 years working for Casper Well Products. Besides his parents he is survived by his son Boyd (Courtney) Wolff of Casper & daughter April (Darren) Goddard of Gilmer, Tx. Also Surviving are 4 brothers, Tracy (Sonya) of Lakewood, Co. Roger (Kelly), Jeff (Dani), Cory (Becky), and Honorary brother Dave (Rhonda) all of Casper. Scott had 6 grandchildren Sage, Austin, Gage, Braedon & Parker Goddard of Gilmer, Tx and 4 week old Morgan Rae Wolff of Casper currently in Denver hospital. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Services will be held Nov. 19th at 2:00pm at Boyd Ave. Baptist Church. Bustard's Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the "Wounded Warriors Project" or Boyd Avenue Baptist church building fund. We love you very much Scott, you will be missed tremendously, and we will see you in heaven one day.
