Bruce K. Wright of Casper passed away at age 58 on April 5, 2015, at his home of natural causes. He was born to Archie and Vangie Wright in Williston, North Dakota, on April 26, 1956. After graduating from Natrona County High School in 1974, he started his career as a machinist at Wotco. Bruce married Debra Woodcock in December of 1978 and acquired two stepsons, Rick and Jason. One daughter, Marci, was born to this marriage. They later divorced. Bruce was next employed by Woodward Machine Corporation where he enjoyed making steering components for race cars. There he acquired an enthusiasm for Nascar racing. Playing golf as a youngster also turned into his lifetime hobby. Bruce finished his machinist career at Wyoming Machinery where he retired in 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Marci (David) Florence and his two grandchildren, Brandon and Abigail Florence all of Casper; his stepsons, Rick (Maggie) Lewis of Casper and Jason Lewis of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his sister, Tammy (Joe) Bryce of Billings. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Bustard's Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9. Memorials may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice.
