Brian Kountz

Brian Scott Kountz, 24, of Casper, WY, passed away June 21, 2014 in Adelanto, CA. He was born May 8, 1990 in Casper, WY. Brian worked as a rig hand on the oil rigs until his move to Adelanto, CA. His greatest passion was cars, and he owned a 67 Fleetwood Cadillac that he was restoring. He received his GED in 2013 and was pursuing his ASC certification in mechanics. He also enjoyed snowboarding, riding his motor cycle and fixing electronics. Brian is survived by his mother; Sandi Kountz of Cheyenne, WY, brother; Nathan Kyler C. Avey of Lewistown, MT, sister Destryia R. Cannon of Cheyenne, WY, Grandmother; Margaret Kountz of Casper, WY, Grandfather Ronald Kountz of Grand Island, NE, Uncle; Daniel Kountz of Casper, WY, 2 cousins; Zechariah Kountz and Anastasia Kountz of Casper, WY, 4 lifelong friends; Matt Marton of Fouck, AR, Daniel Purdin, Vaughn Beasley, and Ben Boehlke all of Casper, and one very special little boy; Bentley Nation. Brian was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Robert and Nettie Knox, and Theodore and Anna Kountz, and his aunt Darlene Kountz. Funeral services for Mr. Brian Scott Kountz, 24, of Casper, WY, will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at WORD Christian Fellowship. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. Bustard's Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
