Brett McCollum

On September 2, 2019 Brett Lee McCollum, 42, left this world to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On August 27, 1977 Brett Lee McCollum was born to Gary Lee McCollum and Susie (Baker) McCollum in Spearfish, SD. Brett grew up in the Hulett area where he attended school along with his four siblings. Since then, he has journeyed through this world as an avid sportsman, especially enjoying Wyoming's great outdoors. In his leisure time, he spent on lakes, mountains, and his grandparents ranch, along with friends and family. Over the years, he actively worked in agriculture, mining, oil and gas, and construction industries. Brett was preceded in death by his son Mason, his grandparents, two uncles, and his cousin Aaron. He is survived by his daughter Meagan McCollum, of Custer, SD. Parents, Gary McCollum of Hulett, and Susie Rose of Oshoto. Sisters, Brigett McCollum of Gillette, Beth McCollum (niece Rylee McCollum-Sims) of Hulett. Brothers, Bart (Caitlyn) McCollum (niece Olathe, nephew Cinch) of Cody. Brian (Jessica) McCollum (nephew Wyatt) of Moorcroft and numerous relatives - aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Faith Community Church, 177 American Road in Gillette, Wyoming. His final resting place shall be at New Haven Cemetery in New Haven Wyoming.
