Bobby G. Sandefer, Sr. passed away suddenly on April 5, 2017. He was born on November 30, 1930 to Cecil and Willie Sandefer in Ennis, Texas. After high school Bobby began his seismograph career drilling for SSC and G.S.I. In 1950 he married Maria Onori of Rome, Italy. Bobby and best friend Bo Lookabaugh formed their drilling company Lookabaugh and Sandefer. In 1963 Bobby formed his own company Sandefer Drilling and drilled for uranium, coal and countless water wells. He was considered one of the best. Bobby enjoyed his work and drilling with his best friend Larry Kilwein of Kilwein Drilling. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Eric. He is survived by his sister, Betty Taylor and nephew, Kenny of Jacksonville, Texas; his son, Bobby Sandefer, Jr. of Casper and his children, Ian, Holly, Ryan and Elisa; his daughter, Marylou Sandefer and her sons, Travis and Nick Bagwell; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bobby was a true southern gentleman who loved life, hunting, fishing and lots of ice cream. He was known for his honesty, caring and willingness to always lend a hand, even when he was very ill. He was loved and will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 12:30 P.M. at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 405 South Park Street in Casper with Pastor Steve Adams officiating.
