It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob L. Foreman. Bob was taken from us March 19, 2014 in a car accident by Point of Rocks near Rock Springs. WY. Bob was born June 1, 1936 to Walter Ray and Opal Alice (Dunham) Foreman. One of six children, he was raised in Bayard, Nebraska and graduated from Hay Springs High School. Bob joined the Air Force on June 15, 1962 as an airplane mechanic. He received the good conduct metal. On April 3, 1964 he married Loretta Matherly who had two children Linda Nall and David Garner, and together they had a daughter, Elizabeth "Sam" Foreman. Bob worked for Petrotomics from 1961 to 1971 and retired from Little America Refining in June of 1998 as the maintenance foreman. He was active in the American Legion, Eagles and the Good Sam's Club. Bob enjoyed many activities outside of those, including camping, fishing, hunting, wood working, and gambling. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends and family and watching all the kids play softball. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Darold Foreman of Grandby, CO, Glen Foreman of Casper, WY and three sisters, Arllene Walgren of Valentine, NE, Pat Anderson of Casper, WY and Bette Dreikosen of Gran Island, NE. Survivors include, his wife, Loretta; his children, Linda (Chuck) Classen, David Garner, Sam (John) McClleland; grandchildren, Kaylee and Ian, Dustin and Shawna, Frederick and Joanna, and Curtis; and his great-grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, Zabrena, Hailee and Lil' Freddie. Services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Veterans Cemetery in Evansville. Memorials may be left at Meals on Wheels or Central Wyoming Hospice.
