She enjoyed skiing and loved to travel. She and Heber traveled to China, Venezuela, Spain, and Europe. After Heber's death in 1990, Bonnie met and later married Walter Hilbig. Bonnie was 67 and Walter was 80 when they married, but age did not slow either of them down. They traveled to East Germany and many other places. Bonnie always felt very fortunate to have had such good husbands and a very happy life. She was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, daughter Judy, Heber, and Walter. She is survived by her son, Bruce Lessig (Bobbi) of Casper, WY, stepson, David Hilbig (Barbara) and their children and grandchildren of Salt Lake City, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews.
